Leadership
Student Council
Student Council membership includes a male and female representative from each class, a president from each class, and four officers (president, vice president, secretary, treasurer). Each class elects its representatives, and the entire student body elects the officers. The council plans school activities, promotes good student-faculty relationships, fosters student leadership, and nurtures a healthy school spirit among all students.
National Honor Society (NHS)
All students in grades 10 through 12 who have been enrolled for at least one semester and who have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 are eligible to become NHS candidates. St. Croix faculty make further selections based on the NHS standards of leadership, service, and character.
Homerooms Support Food Shelf
Thank you to all students and families who supported the recent food drive for the community food shelf at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. An estimated 1,000 pounds of non-perishable foods were collected at SCLHS during November.

The Homeroom groups conducted a friendly competition on Wednesday, November 30, using the supplies donated by their homeroom to design and build structures out of cans and boxes of food. Click here to view the creations: castles, a cross, a car, a rocket ship and the new SCLHS dormitory. The winning entry was a football stadium, complete with players, fans, goal posts and walls, built by Mr. Weihing's homeroom students, who were awarded a pizza party/lunch on December 1.
Thank you to Mrs. Shoop and the Thursday morning girls' Bible study group for sponsoring this service project, and to all the homeroom faculty and participants for their generous donations. |
